I held my largest storytime to date with 344 students from Pre-K to 2nd grade at Park Vista Elementary in Opelousas, LA!
This visit was extra special because it kicked off the first of many partnerships with Raisin' Canes. One of Raisin' Cane's key pillars in our community is EDUCATION, and they were gracious enough to provide each student with achievement awards and a kids combo meal after storytime!
This was such a great visit with tons of energy from the students. A huge huge thanks to my high school classmate, Kim, for inviting me to read to her students ❤️
