I feel so incredibly blessed to have had Terysa visit our school to share her book! Her storytelling ability is engaging and beautiful. She thoughtfully answered questions with kindness and patience from 40 PreK and 60 Kindergarten students. Our students are still talking about how much they love Mrs. Terysa and love looking at our classroom copy of her book and photos she shared with us from her childhood which inspired her story! Right before the holidays, I was given the opportunity to read to over 100 Pre K and Kindergarten students at Leonville Elementary School. This visit was extra special because I was able to catch up with some of my friends from High School! It was definitely a full circle moment to have Gina to reach out to me to read to her class, Justine offering to come and take pics, and stopping by Kelly's room to say hi!
